Whether we call it “Anthropocene” or “Capitalocene,” the impact of human and economic development on the planet can no longer be questioned and has given rise, especially among the youth, to a strong engagement and to many demonstrations. To the point that more and more people are starting to think of “collapse,” or even of “the end of the world.” Is doom-mongering an effective or counter-productive way to awaken consciences?
