Presentation

Djam, a young Greek woman from the island of Lesbos, is sent to Istanbul by her uncle Kakourgos, a former sailor and rebetiko fan, to find the rare part that will allow them to fix their boat. There she meets Avril, a 19-year-old French girl, alone and penniless, who came to Turkey as a volunteer to help refugees. But Avril has run out of money and lost her ID. And she has no way to go home. Djam takes her under her wing on her way to Mytilene. A journey made of encounters, music, shared experiences, and hope.
