The ongoing economic crisis seems to have made many of us forget about the urgency of its ecological counterpart. Yet climate change is causing huge human and natural catastrophes. Atmospheric pollution increases susceptibility to illnesses, and the religion of development is reducing the diversity of our planet. What new ways of thinking about our relationship to the animal and vegetal realms could allow us to build a new humanism for the planet age?
