Lies, Fiction, and Politics

Is representation necessarily a lie? The goal here is to question the concepts of public lie and of truth at the theatre. How does the theatre tackle this theme, and is it possible to depict truth? Aren't political narratives a twisting of the truth? Using Véronique Bellegarde's Mensonges (Lies) project as a starting point, a conversation with researchers, politicians, and artists.
