Symbols of the success of cultural decentralisation, of cultural appropriation by local authorities, festivals today represent the most suitable instrument of cultural cooperation and irrigation for the diversity of territories, one of those that have shaped the French cultural landscape as we know it. These exchanges will be illustrated by the presentation of the first national mapping of festivals.
