Using as the basis for their show the Brothers Grimm’s version of Little Red Riding Hood rather than Charles Perrault’s, the Das Plateau collective offer an immersive plastic experience aimed at children and adults alike. Come rediscover this seminal and emancipatory fairy tale in a show that plays with our shared experience, our fear of forests and of wolves, and our expectations when we enter an unknown land. With its two actors, this coming-of-age story at the border between dream, magic, and visible theatrical artifices invites the audience into this world made of projected images, mirror reflections, and kaleidoscopes of mysterious silhouettes. A forest which for some will be perfect for strolls and daydreams while others will still want to get out of it as fast as possible. A forest like a visual and exhilarating poem, seen from the point of view of a child free to make her choices and with her life ahead of her.
