Salim Djaferi

Author, actor and director Salim Djaferi creates projects steeped in documentary research. Starting from personal narratives and collective stories, he shapes shows at the crossroads between theatre and performance. 
In 2020, he created Sajada/Le lien, an installation-performance based on a collection of Muslim prayer rugs. In 2021, his first play, Koulounisation, explored the French colonisation of Algeria through the lens of language.
