Noémie Goudal

Noémie Goudal is a photographer and plastic artist. Her work has been the subject of many solo exhibitions (Centre d’art Le Grand Café, Saint-Nazaire ; musée des Beaux-Arts of Locle ; Fotografiska, Stockholm ; Le BAL, Paris ; FOAM, Amsterdam) and collective shows like the Venice Biennale (Azerbaijan Pavilion). She is a recipient of a Mondes Nouveaux grant (2021), has been awarded the HSBC Prize for Photography (2013), and was artist-in-residence at the Manufacture de Sèvres from 2018 to 2022. Her current plastic research, entitled Post Atlantica, was inspired by paleoclimatology and deep time studies, and will be exhibited at the Rencontres de la photographie in Arles in 2022.
