Marion Siéfert

Author and director Marion Siéfert began her career with performance art, before creating several solos and duets, portraits or self-portraits, in which text, bodies, and music directly interrogated the unspoken assumptions of representation. With _jeanne_dark_, she was one of the first to conceive a show simultaneously for the stage and for Instagram, a critical examination of our modernity which has been her concern ever since her first play in 2016, and which she now continues to explore through broader, more fictional forms.
