Madeleine Fournier

Madeleine Fournier is a dancer and choreographer. After many collaborations as a performer and several creations with choreographer Jonas Chéreau, she founded her company, ODETTA, in 2017. She created the solo Labourer and the group pieces La Chaleur and Branle, which she presented at the Festival d’Automne in 2023. Her dance, between tradition and experimentation, is intensely tied to the emotional power of music, to the buried gestures of the subconscious, to the collective history of bodies, and to the cyclic nature of the movements that make up the living world.
