Jeanne Candel
Director and actress Jeanne Candel founded the company la vie brève in 2009. Collective writing and her exploration of the intertwining of music and theatre shape her work, notably Robert Plankett in 2010; Le Crocodile trompeur / Didon et Enée, co-directed with Samuel Achache, in 2013; BAÙBO – de l’art de n’être pas mort in 2023 or Fusées presented at the 2025 Festival d'Avignon. Since 2019, la vie brève has been at the head of the Théâtre de l’Aquarium at La Cartoucherie, in Paris.
