Benjamin Clementine

Born in 1988 in London to parents of Ghanaian descent, Benjamin Clementine grew up in the north of the city, surrounded by books and a piano his brother had abandoned. At 19, he left London for Paris, with no money and no roof over his head. He played in the streets, bars, and metro stations; it was there that his musical language was born. In 2015, his debut album At Least For Now was awarded the Mercury Prize. It was followed by I Tell A Fly (2017), And I Have Been (2022), and Sir Introvert and the Featherweights, set for release in 2026.
