We pay tribute to Raimund Hoghe, the famous German choreographer and dancer who died on Friday 14 May. Writer and then playwright for Pina Bausch, he leaves behind the memory of a demanding choreographic work, alternating solos and group pieces. During his last visit to the Avignon Festival in 2018, this important protagonist of contemporary dance had given rhythm to the Cloître des Célestins with two of his creations: Canzone per Ornella and 36 Avenue Georges Mandel.
