Following the measures taken by the defence and national security council on the 21st of October 2020 and announced by the Prime Minister today, especially a curfew at 9 p.m. enforced right from the end of the week in the departments of Vaucluse and Gard, the teams of the Festival d’Avignon are reorganising, in accordance with the sanitary rules, Une Semaine d’art en Avignon.
The adaptations available to the spectators and the artistic teams are as follows:
Go ahead with the entirety of the Semaine d’art en Avignon from the 23rd to the 31st of October 2020
Advance the schedule of all the performances by 3 hours from the 23rd of October except the performances of Endless Andromaque which will take place at 6 p.m.
New schedule of the performances (see below)
All the spectators that have bought tickets (through the ticket office, by telephone, and on internet) will receive a message from the Festival d’Avignon with the new schedule and the following procedures:
1. If the new schedule suits them, they have nothing to do. Their tickets will be available from 9 p.m. on their account online.
2. If the new schedule does not suit them, they can write to firstname.lastname@example.org to ask for a refund of the tickets or ask to change for another schedule or another performance (within the limit of available places).
All the spectators that have bought tickets from the Fnac network will be informed by the Fnac of the new schedule and the conditions of exchange and refund possible.
For the members of a group who already have their tickets, they will still be valid for the performance of the same day at the new schedule. They can also ask to change for another schedule or a refund through email@example.com
The information about the encounters and the debates will be communicated right from the 23rd of October.
We thank the artists and those who accompany them for their adaptability and of course the spectators for their infallible fidelity and understanding.
We are here, see you soon!
