This is a project between the Festival d'Avignon - field of unlimited "subjects" - and the press in order to make the new generation of journalists aware of the performing arts, to work on the promotion of the "cultural press" and on the renewal of audiences and spectators. The Festival d'Avignon proposes to journalism students a course composed of :
a training period coordinated by a journalist specialised in the performing arts just before the Festival, conceived as a specialisation module in cultural journalism
an internship in one of our media partners during the Festival d'Avignon.

3 June: deadline for applications
From 2 to 7th July: seminar on the Festival, its organisation, the performing arts and cultural journalism. Educational supervision by Marie-Josée Sirach, cultural journalist and theatre critic, with the collaboration of journalists appointed by the editorial offices of the partner media + meetings with professionals, discovery of the cultural environment.
From 7 to 26 July: internship in an editorial office of a media partner of the Festival d'Avignon
