A musical and poetic evening with Serge Rezvani, where his new composition Pour une Marseillaise amie (For a friendly Marseillaise) will be performed, which completes our national anthem with today's questions, and also in friendship for the new arrivals on this Earth: "You who have just been born".
Serge Rezvani turned 95 on 23 March 2023. Born of a Russian Jewish mother and an Iranian father who was a magician, he was a painter, writer, playwright and songwriter who wrote songs to seduce Lula. In the 1960s, he was acclaimed by New Wave filmmakers such as François Truffaut, who made Le Tourbillon de la vie the soundtrack to Jules et Jim, by Jean-Luc Godard, who had Anna Karina sing Jamais je ne t'ai dit que je t'aimerais toujours in Pierrot le fou. And by Jacques Baratier in Dragées au poivre with Lili Gribouille.
Chansons pour Lula was produced by Françoise Canetti on the Jacques Canetti label.
The collection Chansons silencieuses is published by Philippe Rey.
The evening is followed at 9pm by a tribute to Lucien Attoun, founder of Théâtre Ouvert and a leading voice on France Culture, in the presence of Serge Rezvani and Stanislas Nordey.
