Presentation

From backstage to the stage, Christophe Raynaud de Lage photographs the shows of the Festival d'Avignon. Courtyard, cloister, gymnasium, quarry, wind, heat, rain are all part of his decor... Day and night, he takes thousands of shots. For The present eye, the photographer has chosen a visual, tactile and sound approach. His exhibition-walk is an immersion in the heart of the Festival's living memory.
