Annabelle Playe and Alexis Forestier construct and deconstruct territories—both aural and visual—based on reminders of places or strokes of imagination. They call on both the audience's gaze and memory for a sensory experience of backworlds coming up to the surface and landscapes on the edge.
Annabelle Playe is a composer and singer. Her music sits somewhere between electroacoustic, drone, and noise. She performs with electronic instruments in France and abroad.
Alexis Forestier collects objects, arranges or transforms them, organises them to create series; they take their place in his musical machine-theatre, which examines the real to reproduce fragments of it.
