“Of course, there are refugees from everywhere, demonstrations, terrorist attacks, political scandals, Frenchmen who drink too much, hospitals crumbling down, the President's make-up costs us a fortune, and I'm pissed off in my tiny apartment when I think about Lagerfeld's cat... but let it be said, 'How beautiful France is!'”
As a child, Gustave Akakpo dreamt of becoming an explorer, a researcher, a pioneer, an interplanetary traveler, but in the end, his sedentary nature led him to the world of imagination. He practices several socially-accepted forms of artistic expression: playwright, actor, storyteller, cartoonist, and plastic artist.
Frédéric Blin has worked as an actor, author, and clown since 2001, notably with the Chiche Capon. He defends the right of artists to be original and strives to make people laugh without trying to be funny.
