Improvisations for organ and a fairy tale for adults about a promise that was made: “The name was on the tip of her tongue, but she couldn't find it. It floated around her lips, it was so close, she could feel it but couldn't grasp it, put it back in her mouth, pronounce it.”
Musique sacrée en Avignon offers, in partnership with the Festival d'Avignon, a cycle of concerts/readings that showcase the historic organs of Avignon and its areas. For the 70th edition of the Festival, several works by Pascal Quignard have been selected: The Name on the Tip of the Tongue, The Roving Shadows, Les Désarçonnés (The Unsettled), The Music Lesson, as well as unpublished texts, which will be read by Marie Vialle, Pierre-Yves Chapalain, and Didier Sandre.
