Presentation

Inspired by the paintings of the Italian Renaissance, this film, shot in Egypt with almost 2,000 extras, tells the story of the life of Christ from the Annunciation to the Resurrection.

Musique sacrée en Avignon offers, in partnership with the Festival d'Avignon, a cycle of concerts/readings that showcase the historic organs of Avignon and its areas. For the 70th edition of the Festival, several works by Pascal Quignard have been selected: The Name on the Tip of the Tongue, The Roving Shadows, Les Désarçonnés (The Unsettled), The Music Lesson, as well as unpublished texts, which will be read by Marie Vialle, Pierre-Yves Chapalain, and Didier Sandre.
