Everything will start from a forest. A very realistic forest. But this landscape will also be the reflection of the own confused mind of the characters who will walk across it. It will also reflect the changing feelings of the audience : from harmony to danger, contemplation to fear towards nature - especially towards human nature.
Gisèle Vienne's shows can be compared to strange visual objects. On stage, they explore both fantasy and reality, digging into our guiltiest contradictions. Death, life, and sex drives will be the forces that pervade the theatrical ritual of this unique artist. Bodies will be choregraphed together with images, music and words, in order to create a disturbing - but redeeming - experience that will unearth a particular truth about ourselves and about our civilization.
