There is a publicly expressed discontent about the role of the playwright today, so these debates strike the heart of the matter. It will also be an opportunity to hear and read plays that have never been performed, and thus to appreciate some of the contemporary voices that go unheard. The debates are organised in three round-table sessions with writers, actors, directors, as well as theatre and festival directors.
