The aim is to make accessible to the public an aspect of today's and future stage-design. This presentation is made notably via the teaching methods available in France, and demonstrated by students' and graduates' works carried out during their studies and just after leaving their school. Many students of stage-design come from all over France and abroad, attracted by the training available in different institutions in France. The choice of courses is wide and expresses the diversity of the inventions in stage-design, of sources of inspiration, the diversity of talent. There is also a wide variety of sectors in which these young artists practice. The schools are themselves, while transitory places for the students, important. Many experienced professionals have elected to convey their own rich experience to the next generation in these schools, and not in an academic way, but in a human, artistic and practical, technical way. Their goal is principally to enable each student to find their own direction, and to do what has not yet been accomplished, in close relations with today's world, in a way which is open and which confronts them with the arts, disciplines, ideas and mobilisation of thought to empower them to create and achieve.
