A woman receives a telephone call announcing her mother’s death at the very moment she walks through the door. From this absurd situation, Samuel Achache, Sarah Le Picard, Florent Hubert, and Antonin-Tri Hoang have created an opera in which the improbable and the tragic meet. Known for their shows that blend theatre and music, they go all out in Les Incrédules, with its fifty-two-piece orchestra that includes a saxophone, accordion, percussion, and a mysterious instrument designed to create musical randomness.
