In a digitised world, where the virtual world and its demands for calibrated visuals are forever encroaching on the real world, how can we nurture our inner images? How can we rely on the power of our imagination? How can we embody a reality not immutable but malleable, changing, the result of our dreams and decisions? What could this collective ultra-fiction be? A fiction we’ve dreamed of so much that it would become real, hyper real. It is to those questions that the new creation of the El Conde de Torrefiel company invites us to think, by using the tools of performance, dance, and plastic arts only to better create theatre. Une imagen interior, with its unique dramaturgy, has text, movement, sounds, and matter collide and clash on their way to a new Big Bang. Una imagen interior is this new explosion of thoughts and sensations, which seeks to free the eroticism of our imagination. And maybe—who knows?—to invent a different reality: that of tomorrow…
