Sílvia Pérez Cruz

Silvia Perez Cruz. Born in 1983 in Palafrugell, she grew up among musicians. From the age of 4 to 23, she studied a large variety of subjects related to music: musical theory, classical saxophone and piano, cajón, harmonics, singing (jazz and flamenco), improvisation, arrangements, jazz saxophone, music composition... She received a degree in jazz singing from the ESMUC. She collaborated with many artists and began a solo career in 2011, with several of her records going gold. Her latest album, Toda la via, un día, released in 2023, is more evidence of her love for sung poetry. In 2022, she was awarded the “Premio Nacional de Musica” by the Spanish Ministry of Culture.
