Mohamed El Khatib

Author and director Mohamed El Khatib likes to bring theatre together with other disciplines (cinema, installations, literature, etc.) and experiment with different forms to develop documentary fiction projects. After studying literature and sociology, he founded the Zirlib collective, which sees contemporary creation as both a sensitive and social action. Through his gathering of intimate epics, he invites those witnesses to take part with him in a writing project about our present time. He is an associated artist at the Théâtre de la Ville in Paris, the Théâtre National de Wallonie-Bruxelles, and the Théâtre National de Bretagne (Rennes).
