Michikazu Matsune

Born in Kobe, Japan, Michikazu Matsune has lived and worked in Vienna since 1997. At the crossroads between documentary and conceptual performance where poetry, humour, the absurd, and criticism meet, his work examines the relationship between identity and globalisation, action and language, public and private, as in Goodbye (2016), All Together (2018), or Mitsouko & Mitsuko (2021).
