Mal Pelo
Catalan collective Mal Pelo was founded in 1989 by choreographers María Muñoz and Pep Ramis, who also serve as its artistic directors. With over thirty shows played throughout the world, they continue to develop their poetic vision of the world. Their creations, enriched by many artistic collaborations, create vibrant echoes between bodies, music, and texts. Inventions (2020) is the next-to-last opus in their tetralogy about Johann Sebastian Bach begun in 2004 with Bach. It was followed by On Goldberg Variations/Variations in 2019, then finally by Highlands in 2021.
