Fanny de Chaillé

After studying Aesthetics at the Université Paris Sorbonne, Fanny de Chaillé started creating her own installations and performances in 1995, then shows for the stage starting in 2003. Her work is a theatre of the body where texts and movements dissociate only to better redefine their relationship. Her shows explore literary or philosophical texts, but also the memory and experience of the performers themselves, as in her recent plays like Le Chœur or Une autre histoire du théâtre. In January of 2024, she became director of the TnBA – Théâtre national de Bordeaux-Aquitaine and its school.
