Carolina Bianchi
Carolina Bianchi is a Brazilian playwright, director and performer based in Europe since 2020. The recipient of the Silver Lion Award at the Venice Dance Biennale (2025), her works always start from the perspective of a crisis, tackling themes such as gender, violence and desire, art history, theatre, and writing. As director of the CARA DE CAVALO collective in São Paulo, she created the shows O Tremor Magnífico, LOBO, as well as the trilogy CADELA FORÇA: A Noiva e o Boa Noite Cinderela (chapter I), The Brotherhood (chapter II) et Uma Luz Cordial (chapter III), which will premiere at the Festival d’Avignon in 2026.
