Anne-Karine Lescop

After training in both classical and contemporary dance, Anne-Karine Lescop, in her career as a performer, had a critical encounter: she met Odile Duboc. With this choreographer, she danced several shows including the remarkable Projet de la matière, alongside Boris Charmatz and Pedro Pauwels among others. Also taking part in the creations of Sylvain Prunenec, Loïc Touzé, Hervé Robbes and Emmanuelle Huynh, she developed at the same time her own body of work based on two main themes: the transmission to the young generation and the living conservation of a choreographic heritage. Between 2000 and 2003, she worked on a project consisting in recreating Dominique Bagouet's solos, before proposing her Petit projet de la matière in 2009 at the Musée de la danse, Centre chorégraphique national de Rennes et de Bretagne, run by Boris Charmatz whom she will assist for 50 ans de danse and Levée des conflits
